About DM Plant
DM Plant is required particularly for boiler feed purposes. In dissolved solids of the raw water that is very high, demineralized water that is used for the cooling tower makes up water. It is used as the make-up water for the urea plant that directs the cooling tower. It is also known as deionized water that has had its mineral ions removed such as cations of sodium, calcium, iron, copper and many more. DM Plant is a physical process that uses specially manufactured exchange resins that provide an ION exchange site for the replacement of the mineral salts in water from forming H+ and OH- ions.
